Blood Child (US VHS)
HK 1982. Aka Five Fingers of Steel. Den sah ich im Nov. 2016 als UK-DVD (Englischer Dub). Die DVD wurde verkauft/entsorgt, als ich mir diese VHS aus den USA besorgte. Diese ist in Kantonesisch mit englischen und chinesischen Untertiteln. Es handelt sich aber wohl um einen neuen Canto Dub. Aber egal. Noch immer besser als der englische Dub. Der Film gefällt durch seine Härte und den Verzicht auf Humor (es gibt aber einen Charakter à la Dean Shek). Kuan Yung-Wen gibt einen wunderbaren Bösewicht ab und Hwang Jang-Lee spielt nur eine Nebenrolle. Er darf auch nur im Finale kämpfen. 7.5/10

Bei Righting Wrongs war es doch glaube ich ähnlich, oder? Zuerst das brachiale Ende (welches deutlich besser war) und nach Protesten folgte der leichter verdauliche Hollywood Ausgang.

Wenn ich die KI frage, ob die 2 Peter Gunn DVDs (50 Folgen) von Pidax ALLE Folgen der gesamten Serien beinhaltet, kriege ich die Antwort: "Ja, das sind alle 50 Folgen der Peter Gunn Serie." Nur mal zur Info, die Serie hat 114 Folgen im Original. Vertrauen ist nun für immer gebrochen .

Bekam ich empfohlen. Stephen King Roman-Verfilmung (ist ein relativ neuer Roman). Mochte ich sehr. Sehr King-typisch. Teilweise überraschend fies. Mal schauen, wie es in der 2. Staffel weitergeht! 8/10
