Produzentin Barbara Broccoli wiederholt in einem Interview mit Associated Press, 007 kann dunkler werden.

Broccoli has teased what we might be able to expect from the much-anticipated reveal of the next 007. The article states: “It will be a man. He’ll likely be in his 30s. Whiteness is not a given.”

The actor will also need to be contracted to at least a decade’s worth of films.

Broccoli expects that whoever they pick will have to deal with a backlash similar to that experienced by Daniel Craig, who was criticised at the beginning before his first appearance in Casino Royale. She refers to it as “anti-Daniel Craig nonsense”. (...)

Her brother and co-producer, Michael G Wilson, added: “Every time we cast a new actor, the films change. It’s the excitement of a new Bond, a new direction.

Nearly three years after Amazon acquired the right to release Bond movies through its $6.5 billion purchase of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studio, the relationship between the family that oversees the franchise and the e-commerce giant has all but collapsed.

It turns out producer Barbara Broccoli and Amazon are fighting over the creative direction of the franchise, with Amazon reportedly starting to push for “Marvel-style” ideas to expand the Bond franchise, including several spinoff shows and potentially other movies. Broccoli seemingly has zero interest in making them.

Broccoli, 64, who has fully taken the reins of the franchise, has told friends that the people at Amazon are, “f***ing idiots.” She doesn’t believe Amazon is a great fit for Bond, and has taken the franchise “hostage,” refusing to develop any new films under their banner.

Amazon's Jennifer Salke was tasked with dealing with Broccoli, and her description of the franchise as “content’ reportedly infuriated Broccoli. Things have soured so much that the release of a new Bond film is now in jeopardy.

Falls es jemanden interessiert, auf YT hat jemand James Bond Screentests von 2005 geteilt, angeblich kam es "from a VHS Tape found in a recycling Bin at a Movie Studio" (2005 - VHS? ).

Ich weiß nicht, wie lange die dort bleiben (erst vor wenigen Tagen hochgeladen), die Copyrights bleiben doch auch bestehen, wenn jemand etwas in die Mülltonne wirft.



Henry Cavill - ich dachte erst das wäre eine Endlosschleife, weil die Betonung kaum variiert.



Finde ich von den Variationen am besten: Sam Worthington.



Rupert Friend sieht eindeutig am besten aus, aber die Stimme klingt zu weich.



Ich hatte keine Ahnung, wer Anthony Starr ist, da ich weder BANSHEE noch THE BOYS gesehen habe. Er lächelt etwas zuviel.

Der älteste der Testkandidaten, Antony Starr, war damals 30 Jahre alt und der jüngste, Henry Cavill erst 21. Also dachten die Produzenten an eine Verjüngung, bevor sie auf Daniel Craig, 37 und blond, setzten. Etwas Neues wäre für mich, wenn tatsächlich einer weit unter 30 an die Reihe käme, Phänotyp ist mir egal, aber Bond sollte britisch bleiben.
