Actor Vince Vaughn stopped by the White House for a cheeky photo op with President Donald Trump. An image, posted across The White House’s official social media accounts, shows the pair parodying Vaughn’s 2005 romantic comedy hit, Wedding Crashers. It’s not the first time that Vaughn, a self-described “libertarian,” has been seen cozying up to a Trump or two. In 2020, the star was spotted shaking hands with Donald and Melania in a private box at a football game in Louisiana.

Based on the Apple original podcast, Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy, the eight-episode, hour-long series “tells the wild ride relationship tale of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination. The duo pushes the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show,” according to a release from the streamer.
Production will begin this fall with Matt Shakman (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, WandaVision) set to direct the pilot and serve as executive producer alongside Hoffman, who will also direct.

Sind sie sicher, was die Zensur von Inhalten angeht. Aber was ist an dem A Better Tomorrow-Beispiel wirklich anders als wenn ein Hollywood-Animationsfilm in einen Hollywood-Realfilm oder umgekehrt remaked wird - da gehen auch manche Intentionen verloren, z.B. letztens Schneewittchen? Oder Hollywood-Remakes von fremdprachigen Filmen, die bis auf wenige Ausnahmen die Originale kastrieren? Falls gemeint ist, der Unterschied ist die Umstellung auf A.I., dann frage ich, wie viel Prozent in einem Blockbusterfilm sind wirklich unbearbeitet? Bei dem nächsten Superman-Film vielleicht um die 5%. Also, ob das alles CGI -> A.I. ist, der Kopf eines Schauspielers noch im grünen Studio arbeiten darf oder komplett digital generiert wurde, finde ich tatsächlich unerheblich, A.I. nimmt dann mehr CGI-Leuten die Arbeit weg, die früher den Handwerk-Trickspezialisten und Stuntleuten die Arbeit weggenommen haben. Lediglich den Zuschauern solcher action-geladenen Filme ist A.I. so zuzumuten (also die, die auch alles direct-to-video verschlingen), alle anderen würden streiken.
Also ABT ist ein ganz schlimmes Beispiel, weil bis auf Leslie Cheung ist der Rest der Bande alles Gauner. Die bleiben sicherlich keine Gauner und ob davon jemand sterbseln tut am Ende, steht auch noch außer Frage. Dann gab es bereits Remakes von, das südkoreanische ist noch Okay, das chinesische selber zeigt schon viel von dem, was schiefgehen kann in derlei Hinsicht, trotz einem durchaus erfahrenen Regisseur. Ich hab in Actionfilmen auch lieber Handwerk als CGI oder gar AI, und ich schau vermehrt DtV.
Nun kann man sagen, man muss sich das ja nicht ansehen, aber irgendwie ist das schon im Nachhinein aufs Grab pissen.

Das wird es auch weiterhin geben, in low-budget-Produktionen, wo gebrauchte Autos doch billiger sind als Hochleistungsrechner. Ich habe bisher auch nichts über mehrere Minuten lang, ganz per AI geschaffen, gesehen, wo ich dachte DAS ist jetzt die Zukunft, überzeugt mich total. Wir befinden uns in einem Remake der Diskussion, die es auch vor Final Fantasy (2001) gegeben hat und ich vermute, es wieder eine Menge Hype, aber: so wie die Computeranimationen damals gewaltig zunahmen, wird es auch mit AI-Anteilen sein.
